Mini Review - Jaina Solo (Star Wars Black Series)
Jaina Solo is the second "Fans Choice" Legends figure to be added to the toy line. I've been a bit absent from the line ever since they toned down the articulation (specifically the loss of double elbows on the new troopers) but let me tell you this is one of the best Black Series figures I have ever handled.
Paint and sculpt on the figure is very nice with only a few minor flaws. Just the odd paint rub here and there. Nothing beyond what I would expect from a mainline shelf figure like this.
Articulation is surprisingly impressive possibly due to her more lithe frame compared to other characters in the line. The articulation of course is hindered by her flight gear but that is easily removed thanks to just a couple little rubber nubs.
She comes with a ton of accessories. Her flight gear and helmet are both made of a soft rubber material and can be applied and removed without any concern for damage or paint transfer. She has a holster for her blaster, and a hook for her lightsaber on her belt. The belt is also a layered piece of softer rubber plastic that can be adjusted to your liking. The Lightsaber blade is removable from the handle for storage however I am a bit worried that this will become very loose over time so be careful if you plan to remove it often.
All in all this is a very impressive figure and highly recommended if you enjoy the Star Wars EU characters... or even if you don't!
